An Honest Question

Is your current website actually bringing you work?

Plenty of trade businesses have a website that looked fine when it was built and has quietly stopped pulling its weight since. Nine times out of ten, when I'm asked to look over an existing site, at least one of these is true. None of it means the business is doing anything wrong, it just means the website hasn't kept up.

It takes a while to load on mobile

Open your site on your phone, off wi-fi. If you're waiting more than about three seconds for it to appear, most people won't wait either.

You can't find it on Google

Search your trade plus your suburb, the way a customer would. If you're nowhere on the first page, the site isn't telling Google what you do or where you do it.

There's no padlock in the address bar

No padlock means some browsers will warn visitors your site isn't secure before they've even seen it. It's a quick thing to fix, and a costly one to leave.

Getting in touch takes effort

If your number isn't tappable, or the contact form hasn't been tested in years, enquiries are being lost without ever showing up as a missed call.

It looks older than the business is

Fair or not, people judge a trade by its website in a couple of seconds. A dated site makes a sharp, well-run business look like it's winding down.

It doesn't really say what you do

A lot of sites list services in a way that makes sense to the owner but not to a customer, and skip the one thing they came to check: do you cover my area?

53%

of mobile visits are abandoned if a page takes longer than three seconds to load.

Google, “The Need for Mobile Speed”
76%

of people who search for something nearby on their phone visit a related business within a day.

Google, local search research

Put together, that's a lot of work going to whoever turns up first and loads fastest. The good news is that none of it is hard to fix, and you can see exactly what yours would look like before paying anything.

Example Websites

Demo websites for different trades and businesses, each with its own look and features. Open any of them and click around, they work just like a real site.

What You Get

What's included in every build.

Every site is built from scratch around your business, not dropped into a template. These come as standard, whatever size the project is.

Built for phones first

Most people who look you up are standing in a driveway or sitting in a ute, on a phone. If they have to pinch and zoom just to read your number, most won't bother, they'll go back and call whoever's next on the list.

Your site is designed on a phone screen first and scaled up to desktop afterwards, not squeezed down from a computer layout and hoped for the best.

Fast, clean code

Google's own research found more than half of people give up on a page if it takes over three seconds to appear on a phone. They don't wait, and you never find out they were there.

Most slowness comes from drag-and-drop website builders piling on code the site never actually uses. Yours is written by hand, compressed, and set up so returning visitors load it almost instantly.

Found in local searches

SEO is a jargon word for something simple: setting the site up so Google can work out what you do and where you do it. Get it wrong and you can have a genuinely good-looking website that nobody ever finds.

Page titles, headings and image descriptions are written around your actual trade and your actual service area, so when someone nearby searches for it, you're in the running.

Enquiries that actually reach you

A contact form that quietly fails is worse than having no form at all. The customer thinks they've got in touch and is waiting to hear back, while you never learn they existed. It's more common than most people would guess.

Every form and tap-to-call button is tested with a real submission before the site is handed over, so you know it works.

Yours once it's paid

Plenty of web companies keep your site on their own account and charge a monthly fee to keep it online. Stop paying and it disappears, and you start again from nothing.

That's not how this works. You get the actual website files and full ownership, so you can host it where you like, change it yourself, or hand it to someone else years later.

Revisions until it's right

You're not buying a draft you have to accept. There's no capped number of rounds and no charge for changing your mind on layout, wording, colours or photos.

It keeps going until you look at it and think yes, that's my business. Only then does an invoice go out.

Why work with me

I'm a high school student studying Digital Solutions, building real websites for real businesses as I learn. That means direct, one-on-one communication, genuine care for how each project turns out, and pricing that reflects a student-run operation rather than a full agency.

What this isn't

Being straight with you saves us both time. I don't build online stores or booking platforms, and I don't currently handle hosting or domains, that side stays with you. I also can't promise a particular Google ranking, because nobody honestly can. What I do build is a fast, custom site designed to turn the people who find you into enquiries.

Got Questions First?

Frequently asked questions.

The things people usually want to know before getting started. Tap any question to open it.

How long can I expect my website to take?
It depends on the type of website you're after and how many other projects are already in the queue. For a simple, single-page website, you're generally looking at somewhere between two days and a week.
How does this all work?
Click "Get a Free Quote" and work through the short onboarding form. I'll be in touch once I've had a look over your request, and again once your website prototype is ready for you to see for yourself. From there, just let me know anything you'd like changed and I'll update it. Once you're fully happy with the result, I'll send an invoice, and once that's paid, you'll receive the complete, finished site.
How much can I expect to pay?
There's no fixed price, it comes down entirely to what you're after. A simple one-page site built to collect enquiries costs a lot less than a complex, multi-page site with more features. Most projects land somewhere between $1,500 and $3,600. If you want a rough idea of where your project might sit, try the Price Estimator.
When do I actually pay?
Only at the very end. There's no deposit and nothing to pay while the site is being built. You see a working prototype first, request as many changes as you need, and an invoice only goes out once you've told me you're happy with it. The finished files are handed over as soon as that's paid.
Do you handle hosting or domains?
Not at the moment, right now I only handle building the website itself. It's something I may look at offering further down the track, but for now hosting and domains are on you (I'm happy to point you in the right direction).
What do I need ready before I start?
Not much, honestly. The quote form asks for the basics (what your business does, what you want the site to do, and what you'd like included), and I'll ask for anything else, like photos or specific wording, once we're underway. If something's not ready yet, that's fine too, I can build with clearly-labelled placeholders and swap in the real thing later.
Do you build online stores or booking systems?
Not at the moment. I focus on custom-built informational and lead-generation websites, rather than online stores or booking platforms.
Who owns the website once it's finished?
You do, once the invoice is paid in full. You get the complete website files and you're free to host them wherever you like, change them yourself, or hand them to someone else later. There's no ongoing fee to me and nothing holding the site hostage.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Whatever you share through the quote form is only ever used to put your project together, never sold or shared for marketing. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what's collected and which services it passes through.

Let's see what your website could look like.

Tell me about your business in a couple of minutes. I'll build a working prototype, and you don't pay a thing until you're happy with it.
